About KnowHow
KnowHow brings more than 20 years of learning technology and implementation experience to a connected platform for learning, performance, skills and development. The way we work is practical: understand the organisation, shape the solution around its needs, enable the people who will use it and keep improving from there.
A company shaped by practical delivery
KnowHow's experience has been built through the practical work of implementing, supporting and improving learning and people-development technology with organisations over time.
The platform has grown beyond a traditional LMS into a connected environment spanning learning management, performance development, skills and competency development, assessments, events, reporting and administration.
That evolution is deliberate. Client feedback and ongoing engagement remain an important input into the product roadmap, helping the platform respond to real operational needs rather than a fixed feature agenda.
How we choose to work
The strongest themes in KnowHow's delivery evidence are also the principles we want clients to experience in the relationship.
Client-informed product development
KnowHow is actively developed. Continuous client engagement helps surface pain points, priorities and opportunities that can inform future product decisions.
Client feedback helps shape the roadmap, giving KnowHow a practical view of how the platform is being used and where future improvements can add value.
Capture needs, friction and new priorities through ongoing engagement.
Consider customer value, wider relevance, effort and fit with the platform direction.
Develop, test and introduce improvements through the product lifecycle.
Use feedback and practical adoption to guide the next iteration.
Local roots. Broader experience.
KnowHow operates from Cape Town and supports organisations with different structures, workforce needs and implementation contexts.
That combination of local understanding and international project experience has helped shape a platform that can be configured around different organisational models rather than assuming every client works the same way.
The people behind KnowHow
KnowHow's leadership combines customer, product, commercial and technical experience — with direct involvement in how the platform is shaped, implemented and supported.
Richard leads KnowHow's customer and product strategy, working with organisations to translate learning, performance and workforce-development needs into practical technology solutions. His background spans product management, enterprise implementation, customer experience, software quality and commercial decision-making across South Africa and international markets. Before his current role, he led product support and testing for enterprise software and earlier worked in strategic finance in the UK. At KnowHow, he is closely involved in product direction, client engagement, implementation planning and the ongoing evolution of the platform.
Darryl is a senior technology leader with more than 20 years of experience designing, architecting and delivering secure, web-based enterprise software. As Director: Information Technology, he leads the technical direction of KnowHow and has played a central role in the platform's architecture, development, configuration, implementation and ongoing evolution. His experience includes leading development teams, full delivery lifecycles, global SaaS rollouts and work in regulated and data-sensitive environments. Earlier roles span architecture leadership, development management and enterprise systems development.
A culture of continuous improvement
KnowHow's formal quality-management approach is built around documented processes, review, measurement and continuous improvement. That principle carries into how we think about the platform and client delivery as well.
